” Letting Dogs be Dogs “

Firstly, we only take about 10-20 dogs, so no need to have random staff handling dogs. As a family run business it will generally be Leon and Anne who are working with the dog guests so we can cater to the dog’s personality.
Secondly the Kennels are a purpose built mud brick building in the paddock next to our home. Large pens that measure 2m x 10m with a comfortable indoor space with hammock beds plus an outside sand area under the shade trees. All encased with secure 1.8m chain fencing for the safety of your dog.
But the biggest difference – We also offer dogs the chance to go out into large fenced group paddocks where they have the chance to burn off their energy and play with like minded hounds. This provides your dog with a natural environment of dirt, grass, trees and even a bath tub to jump and splash should they wish. More a fun camp for dogs.

Feeding Program : We are advocates for raw feeding but realise this might not suit your dog. So generally the kennel guests are provided with a mix of : Commercial Dog Log mixed with Kibble and our own Home Made Veggie Stew. You are welcome to provide your own food – packaged into individual servings and labelled – however this does not change the pricing.

Raw Food Option : Added cost of $2.00 per dog per day

Lenny’s Kitchen – Complete Muesli by Dr Bruce Syme
Added mix – greek yoghurt, tin sardines, oil, whole egg
Home Made Veggie Stew (most of these veggies grown here at in our own garden)

Prices shown are for desexed Dogs – for entires (over 12 months) add $3 per day (note: we do not generally take entire dogs/bitches during peak season.)
Off Peak – $50.00 per day – minimum 2 nights
Peak Season – $52.00 per day – mid Dec to mid Jan (minimum 7 days)and Easter (minimum 5 days)
Discounts are available for Multi-pet households, Loyalty Customers, Stays exceeding 14 days (ring Anne for enquiries)

The Catty Shack

Yes…. we can also look after your cats in our cosy mud brick ‘Catty Shack’.
A fully enclosed private space provides a safe place for your cat – just $18 per day all year. (minimum 2 nights)
